Cambridgeshire Health & Social Care Training & Construction Training
Welfare 2 Work is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) to provide training for 19+ unemployed people in the Cambridgeshire area to enter careers in the Construction or the Health & Social Care sectors.
Our courses are parent friendly and designed to help you get a career
Construction Training
We offer the following support and training for people to enter the construction industry,
- CSCS Health & Safety Test
- Work tasters
- National Vocational Qualifications in craft skills (Level 2 full or units)
- Help finding a job in construction (job search, interview skills, CV etc)
- Basic skills support (Math & English)
- Help with using a computer, email, internet
- Travel costs and help with travel
- Information Advice & Guidance (IAG)
- Personal & Functional Skills (Communication, money management etc)
- Other short vocational related training
Health & Social Care
We offer the following support and training for people to enter the Care sector,
- Health & Safety Training

How long is the course?
That's up to you and the speed at which you work as these courses are designed to meet your individual needs and we go at your pace. The courses last an average of 16 weeks
How many Hours per week?
On average we expect learners to attend for 16 hrs per week, however, we can build a weekly time table around your individual needs
