Skills for Jobs is a new LSC programme for unemployed adults to find sustainable employment.
EYS has S4J programmes in Stevenage, Harlow, Luton, Lowestoft, Wisbech, Peterborough, Swindon and Bristol.
All programmes try and deliver skills which employers want to enable participants to access real job and career opportunities. Also, training once you have entered work can be continued with Train 2 Gain, NVQ's and other skills which are delivered in the workplace

Skills for Jobs is a new LSC programme developed in response to the Leitch Report which highlighted the need to join up the education and skills agenda's to tackle 'worklessness' in Britain.
Skills for Jobs enables people to find work through an individually tailored package of support this can include Information, Advice and Guidance, activities to improve employability skills, work tasters and qualifications linked to a particular job.
EYS Ltd is supporting Local Employee Partnerships by delivering bespoke packages of training which reflect employer needs. Pre employment training packages address skills shortages and can be linked with the employer's existing recruitment process.
Pre employment training often offers a guaranteed job interview. If appropriate we can also negotiate a work trial to provide an opportunity to try the job without affecting benefit entitlement.
