Young People Into Construction :

We are passionate about preparing people for the rigours and challenges that today's society brings; there is no greater and more exciting challenge than working in Britain's modern construction industry.

Think of the many different opportunities available: as well as carpentry, painting and decorating and plumbing, did you know that you could become a site surveyor, plant operator, interior designer or even health and safety inspector? There are areas of opportunity that you might not even have heard of, such as curtain walling, concrete technology specialist, CAD-detailing and many other careers!

EYS is in a position to help today's young people get a head start in one of the country's booming industries with courses designed to give candidates a grounding in the basic elements of construction and provide them with the underpinning knowledge required to develop specialist skills and training you need to be successful in today's construction industry. With projects such as the Olympic Games, as well as new housing and 'eco-towns' being planned, developed and erected in and around our countries main cities, the time to be involved is now!

EYS delivers the Edexcel-certified Entry Level Certificate in Construction to our 14-19 year old students, which provides them with a grounding in health and safety; construction careers available; help in applying for jobs; basic practical skills such as plastering, bricklaying and carpentry. Our dedicated and experienced team will also help our candidates target the employment areas that each individual will be best suited for, and aid them in approaching these areas.
