EYS Workforce Development is a provider of Train 2 Gain in the London, South East, South West, Eastern & East Midlands LSC Regions, the LSC's new scheme to upskill the workforce in England, EYS can deliver in the workplace NVQ's and basic skills & ESOL directly to employees in Construction, Health & Social care, Customer Services, Security, Retail, Hospitality, Warehousing, Driving, Information Technology, Management and Business Admin at levels 2+3+4

EYS works with companies nationally in the construction & Health & Social Care industry sectors to train and upskill the workforce. We can deliver tailored individual programmes to meet the needs of employers and employees and can deliver the following qualifications which are all delivered 'On-Site' at employers' premises by qualified and experienced Tutors & Assessors,
Various Craft Skills NVQ Level 2 for Construction Embedded with basic skills (numeracy, ESOL & Literacy), CSCS testing, Health & Safety, Manual Handling and First Aid
NVQ Level 2 in Social Care with embedded Basic Skills (numeracy, ESOL & Literacy), Manual Handling and First Aid
EYS delivers ESOL, Numeracy and Literacy nationally utilising Train2Gain funding for employees for companies such as BUPA, Swissport, Select PLC, Bovis Lend Lease, Hilton Care, Service Air, Local Authorities etc. EYS has vast expertise in delivering Skills for Life to companies which are embedded and delivered in a method which relates to employees occupations. EYS often delivers alongside Skills for Life other qualifications such as First Aid & Manual Handling. EYS delivers Skills for Life through our e2e programmes.
e2e is a nationally funded training scheme for 16-18 year olds who are in the NEET priority group - Not in Education, Employment or Training. The aim of e2e is to motivate these young people into education, employment or training.
EYS is the largest provider of e2e in England, operating through a national network of 23 EYS Learning Centres. The company has contracts with 16 Learning & Skills Councils.

In the past 3 years, EYS has been successful in gaining a range of different funding opportunities using ESF funds. The company has delivered 6 European Social Funded projects for the Learning & Skills Council and The Department of Works and Pensions in the following areas.
Working with an LEA, EYS provides support for pupils aged 14-16 who have Behavioural, Emotional & Social Difficulties (BESD) and who have been excluded from secondary schools.
EYS delivers an alternative curriculum and improves pupil behaviour. This project has been operating for 3 years and the company is keen to work with other LEAs in supporting these young people.
EYS also works with schools in various parts of the country to provide learning opportunities for pupils aged 14-16 who are non-attendees or are at risk of exclusion. EYS has 3 types of learning centre; 14-16, 16-19 and 14-19. The company is a pilot for the Foundation Learning Tier in the East of England and is pursuing the development of coherent learning pathways for 14-19 yr olds for whom mainstream provision may not be the most appropriate.
EYS offers 'Restart', a course designed to re-engage pupils in learning and to progress them into employment, training and work based learning.
EYS works with 2 Local Authorities to deliver crime diversionary projects aimed at young people.
EYS has a wide range of collaborative programmes with colleges, training providers, awarding bodies and community and voluntary organisations.

EYS has developed 'Construction e2e' for Learners to progress into the construction sector.
EYS will continue to deliver ESF programmes across England and will bid for programmes in new cycles of funding for which the company has the skills to deliver
EYS will expand nationally on our current 14-16 programmes and develop the new diplomas for school pupils in line with FLT and we will continue to contract with PRU, individual schools and LEA's
EYS will develop commercial activities for the 3000+ Learners we work will every year with partnerships with high street retails and service providers
EYS will develop offender learning with the LSC and JCP through direct or sub contracts
